Teen Killed In Apparent Targeted Shooting In Baltimore County: Police (Developing)

A teenager was killed in a daytime shooting that appears to be a targeted incident, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Shortly after 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, officers were called to the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville, where they found a 16-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.

The teen was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died, according to police.

Investigators say that the fatal shooting was an isolated incident, and the 16-year-old and his assailant knew each other.

No details about a possible suspect or motive have been released. The shooting remains under investigation.
